An employment tribunal is a specialist employment court that deals with work-related legal claims. A tribunal is made up of up to three people. There must be a residing, legally qualified judge, as well as two lay members. One of whom will be the chosen representative of the employee, and the other an employer representative. The case and evidence is then gone over, and a verdict reached.
On average, employment tribunals last between 6 and 12 months, however our tribunal representatives will work hard to win your case as swiftly as possible.
