Last year was pretty eventful. There was a Royal Wedding, England made it into the Semi-Finals of the World Cup, the Spice Girls reunited, Brexit continued to happen – and that’s only the half of it.
Guardian Support had a busy 2018 too and we want to take a look back at some of the highlights from the last 12 months.
We encountered many firsts throughout 2018 with a major one being hosting our very first event.
We hired some space at BVSC in November and spent much of the year planning and organising the ‘Funding and Sustainability Event’ for the Third Sector.
It was a massive success with over 40 attendees, four brilliant speakers and some excellent feedback. Definitely a highlight of the year!
We also attended our first exhibitions over the summer where we showcased our services at Aston Villa FC and Birmingham City FC.
They too were a major success and enabled us to meet new people and other businesses in the Midlands that may need our HR support or Health and Safety services in the future.
As a team, Guardian Support has celebrated great personal achievements from buying houses and travelling the world to getting engaged and welcoming grandchildren.
We have welcomed three new team members into the business across admin, finance and consultancy and can boast 68 new clients in 2018 and a continued retention rate of 97%!
Most recently, we have launched two brand new services – Recruitment and Onboarding and Food Safety Consultancy – which we can’t wait to sink our teeth into as we head into 2019.
Speaking of which, this year is set to be just as strong for Guardian Support with the introduction of the two new aforementioned services and a lot more up our sleeves.
